A former Texas Roadhouse on the Northwest Side will come back to life Wednesday with a look and a menu from south of the border. Don Tequila, a Columbus restaurant group that since 2016 has opened in Powell, Northland, Dublin and Upper Arlington, has redone the former steakhouse at 1540 Bethel Road with an open ceiling, murals on the walls, lacquered white and black tiles and furniture imported from Mexico.
COLUMBUS MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO MURDER, AGGRAVATED ROBBERY, AND ENGAGING IN A PATTERN OF CORRUPT ACTIVITY
Darius Wynn, 28, of Columbus pleaded guilty Thursday to murder (an unclassified felony), aggravated robbery (a felony of the first degree), engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity (a felony of the first degree) and two firearm specifications. Sentencing is set for Wednesday, August 28 at 8:30 AM. He faces a maximum penalty of life in prison with parole eligibility after 41 years.
