Chamisa Elementary And Los Alamos Online Academy Receive 2024 Innovation In Education Award
Chamisa Elementary School, along with the Los Alamos Online Learning Academy (LAOLA), received a 2024 Innovation in Education award. The School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors and Recent Graduate Chapter welcome new members
The School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors has elected five new board members to serve on the Board. The Recent Graduate Chapter has selected two representatives from the class of 2023 to join the Chapter. Newly elected Alumni Association Board Members include Roxie De Santiago (‘04), Erin McSherry (‘10), Patrick Schaefer (‘09), Erlinda Johnson (‘95), and Kirsten Dick (‘18). Representing the Recent Graduate Chapter (RGC) are Carson Thorton Gonzalez and Rhys Llewellyn.
Water is flowing again at Storrie Lake State Park
SANTA FE, NM – Water is once again flowing at Storrie Lake State Park in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Last month, the State Parks Division restricted water use at the park after the city enacted rationing measures due to the impacts of severe flooding from the Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak Fire burn scars.
John Dodson ready to put on a good show in Japan

Colorado hospitals cited for contaminated equipment, including 3 instances of ‘immediate jeopardy’

Santa Fe police have issued an arrest warrant for a Rio Rancho woman tied to car jackings there. Katrina Quintana, 30, of Rio Rancho, has a warrant out for her arrest from a car jacking near Paseo De Paralta in Santa Fe.
Brand-new Sandoval County Public Safety Building is open for business
A large crowd of Sandoval County, Rio Rancho and New Mexico leaders gathered Tuesday morning to celebrate the opening of the brand new Sandoval County Public Safety Building. Replica of Vietnam War Memorial Wall unveiled in New Mexico
A smaller-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in D.C. was unveiled in Angel Fire, NM. The replica features black granite panels engraved with the names of 58,000 fallen U.S. service members from the war, including 398 New Mexicans.
