Here are the Walmart secrets employees want you to know...

    Walmart secrets revealed

You'll want to take notes for these.

    1. Use the Walmart app

The Walmart app is often as helpful as a store associate, according to this source. So instead of wasting your time trying to flag down a Walmart employee for help, head to the app to locate what you're looking for.

I was in Walmart the other day and a shopper was able to grab a worker who was fulfilling a pickup/delivery order to ask a question. She was trying to locate a grocery item. The first thing the associate did was grab his cell phone and open the Walmart app!

    2. Be nice

You've heard the saying, "you get more bees with honey than vinegar," right? Kindness can get you far.

    This source reports:

..the better customer you are, the better service you'll receive...

    3. You can ask for another cash register to be opened

    Did you know this?

If the line you're standing in is taking a long time, ask a worker to open another register. It's in the best interest of the store to keep lines short. That means customers experience shorter wait times and leave happier.

    4. They price match

If you happen to find an item at a Walmart store more expensive than the Walmart.com advertised price, the Walmart store can price match the online price. Here's more on their price match policy.

    5. Associates are not department experts

Some retail stores have workers that are truly department experts, like an electronics associate that can help you choose the best digital camera for your freelance photography business.

    But, not at Walmart.

Store associates don't have industry-level or product expertise so if you're looking for an opinion from an expert while shopping, which can come in handy for more expensive purchases like appliances or electronics, you won't find that help at a Walmart store.
