    What's the viral video?

In the video, he explains his Marry Me Chicken recipe, saying in the caption:

It's called Marry me Chicken for a reason. Once you taste it you'll see why it got its name.

While the video is a teaser for the actual recipe shared in this later video, the appearance of the chicken dish was good enough to garner the attention of millions of people.

    What's the recipe?

In this video, he explains the recipe and demonstrates how to prepare, cook, and serve the dish:

    • 5-6 chicken thighs (bone-in)
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (whole or chopped)
    • 3/4 cup chicken broth
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

    Instructions

In a cast iron skillet, sear your seasoned chicken, five minutes per side. Remove the chicken and add garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan cheese. Bring the sauce to a simmer, then add back in the chicken. Then, cook in a 375 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Stir the sauce and spoon it over the chicken.

In the video, the creator explains...

I made a dish called Marry Me Chicken the other day. I made it for my wife and now she's talking about renewing our vows, so this might be a good one for my single people but, be careful who you make it for. I'm not responsible for any unwanted proposals.
