Step 1: Bounce knee

The bouncing knee looks like it provides a soothing rhythm for the baby which looks like it is helping to soothe and calm.

Step 2: Gentle hand sweeping across front of face

The final step is gently sweeping a hand over the front of the baby's face in a downward motion, starting from the forehead down to the chin. It's a slow motion and after the first sweep, you can see a noticeable change in the child, with slow blinks and dozing off.
