Lobster rolls are hands down, one of my favorite foods. With this recipe, you don't have to wait to visit your favorite restaurant that serves these.

With a few ingredients, you can make them in your home kitchen whenever you want. Enjoy alone or pair with some fresh, hot and salty fries.

    Enjoy!

    Ingredients

    For the Lobster Filling:
    • 1 1/2 pounds cooked lobster meat, chopped (about 2 cups)
    • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 1 tablespoon finely chopped celery
    • 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives or green onions
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Optional: 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning or a pinch of cayenne pepper for a kick

    For the Rolls:
    • 4 top-split hot dog buns or New England-style rolls
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
    • Leafy lettuce (like Bibb or Boston) for garnish

    Directions

    Prepare the Lobster Filling:
    • In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, and chives.
    • Season with salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning (if using). Gently mix until combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

    Toast the Rolls:
    • Heat a skillet over medium heat. Brush the outside of the buns with melted butter.
    • Place the buns in the skillet and toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

    Assemble the Lobster Rolls:
    • Place a leaf of lettuce in each toasted roll.
    • Generously fill each roll with the lobster mixture.

    Serve:
    • Serve immediately, garnished with extra chives or lemon wedges if desired.

    Tips

Fresh lobster meat will produce the best flavor, in my opinion.

Adding dill or taragon can boost the flavor.

Make it a meal by pairing with fries or chips.

    What do you think?

This recipe is a breeze to whip up. It's literally four main steps, toast the rolls, make the filling, assemble and eat!
