I first learned about Marry Me Chicken on social media. It looked so mouth-watering delicious, I knew I wanted to try it! This pasta recipe is packed with flavor and needs absolutely nothing, except maybe a fresh, green salad paired with it.

    Ingredients

    • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
    • 1 cup chicken broth
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • Fresh basil, for garnish

    Directions

    Prep the Chicken:
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

    Cook the Chicken:
    • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

    Make the Sauce:
    • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
    • Add the sun-dried tomatoes and Italian seasoning, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
    • Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing it to reduce slightly.

    Add Cream and Cheese:
    • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth and creamy.

    Combine:
    • Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let it simmer for a few more minutes until everything is heated through.

    Serve:
    • Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot, ideally with pasta, rice, or a side of vegetables.

    What do you think?

Enjoy this one with your family. It could easily become a weekday dinner staple!
