    Chocolate Chunk Cookies: Divine Chocolate-Filled Cookie Recipe

    These chocoalte chunk cookies are a suped-up version of the classic chocolate chip cookie. It's loaded with huge chunks of chocolate. Definitely a chocolate lovers dream.

    Ingredients

    Dry Ingredients:
    • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt

    Wet Ingredients:
    • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 2 large eggs

    Chocolate:
    • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

    Directions

    Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    Cream Butter and Sugars:
    • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).

    Add Eggs and Vanilla:
    • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

    Combine Ingredients:
    • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

    Fold in Chocolate Chunks:
    • Gently fold in the chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.

    Scoop and Bake:
    • Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

    Bake:
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.

    Cool:
    • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
