    Enjoy!

    Ingredients

    For the Biscuits:

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
    • 3/4 cup milk

    For the Sandwich:

    • 4 large eggs
    • 8 slices of bacon
    • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice)
    • Salt and pepper, to taste
    • Optional: hot sauce, avocado, or additional toppings

    Directions

    • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) for the biscuits.
    • Make the Biscuits: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Gradually stir in the milk until just combined. Do not overmix.
    • Shape the Biscuits: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently knead it a few times. Pat it into a 1-inch thick rectangle. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter or a glass. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    • Bake the Biscuits: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
    • Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
    • Cook the Eggs: In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook to your desired doneness (scrambled, fried, or over-easy). Season with salt and pepper. If using cheese, place a slice on each egg during the last minute of cooking to melt.
    • Assemble the Sandwiches: Slice the biscuits in half. On the bottom half, layer bacon, the cooked egg with cheese, and any additional toppings you desire. Top with the other half of the biscuit.
    • Serve: Enjoy your delicious biscuit breakfast sandwich warm!

    What do you think?

This breakfast sandwich can be mixed up in so many ways. Swap out the cheese, add fresh veggies like tomato or avocado, add herbs, your favorite seasonings, a drizzle of maple syrup, literaly whatever your heart desires.
