Rich and Creamy Chocolate Pudding Cups: Decadent, Dreamy Chocolate Dessert

This chocolate pudding is super smooth and creamy. I love to eat this with whipped cream and fresh fruit. Sprinkle on pomegranate seeds, fresh strawberries, crushed pistachios or any other topping you love.

    Enjoy!

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1/4 cup cornstarch
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 3/4 cups whole milk
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Directions

    • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt until well combined.
    • Add Milk: Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth, ensuring there are no lumps.
    • Cook the Mixture: Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook the mixture, stirring constantly. Bring it to a gentle boil, and continue to cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until it thickens.
    • Remove from Heat: Once thickened, remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the butter and vanilla extract until the butter is melted and everything is well mixed.
    • Cool and Chill: Pour the pudding into individual serving dishes or a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
    • Serve: Serve chilled, and enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate pudding! You can top it with whipped cream or chocolate shavings for an extra treat.

    What do you think?

Spoon this chocolate pudding into individual serving cups and enjoy!
