NORTH VERNON, Ind. – A two-vehicle accident on West U.S. 50 at County Road 700W on Thursday has claimed the life of a Hayden man. The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office’s initial investigation indicates that at just after 2 p.m., a van driven by Jerry L. Bridges, 82, pulled off C.R. 700W and onto Highway 50. It was struck by a concrete truck driven by Travis Carroll of Lovett, Indiana.
