Sheila Cook and her husband, James, purchased Gasconade Hills Resort in Richland, Missouri, in 2021. “My husband served in the U.S. Air Force for more than 20 years before he retired. We lived in California, and I worked in the public sector in health care. When he retired, he also worked in health care. We both did that for about 10 years or so,” Sheila says. “After COVID, we decided to sell everything and buy a campground. So, that’s what we did. We moved to Missouri in 2021.”

Caglianone is a two-way player from the University of Florida. His higher upside professionally is as a position player. He hit 35 longballs — second among Division I hitters behind No. 3 pick Charlie Condon’s 37 — with a .419/.544/.875 slash line as a junior. Caglianone walked at an 18.4 percent clip while striking out only 8.2 percent of the time. He has top-of-the-scale raw power that gives him the chance to hit in the middle of a lineup.

Columbia woman receives probation for nailing man in basement
A Columbia woman who nailed a man shut in a basement pleads down to one of the three charges filed against her. Alexis Fenton had been charged with third-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, and third-degree kidnapping.
