Get Paid from $197M Settlement for ATM Fees

If you paid a surcharge to withdraw cash from a bank ATM in the United States you coulkd benefit from a new $197.5 million settlement.

Those covered in the settlement used a Visa or Mastercard debit card and were charged fees between October 1, 2007, and July 26, 2024.

Individuals must submit a timely, valid claim now to receive a payment. Each claim will be eligible for a proportional share the ATM class action settlement fund, based on the total number of valid claims. Since the payment amount depends on how many claims are approved, it's impossible to know beforehand exactly how much each payment will be.

You won't need to provide any documentation when filing a claim. However, the class action Claims Administrator may ask for additional documentation or proof supporting your claim later. The claim form does requires you to state under oath that you were assessed ATM surcharges.
