    PSP: Man found dead in Lehigh River

    JIM THORPE, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) say a man was found dead in Carbon County on Monday.

    Troopers from the PSP Lehighton Criminal Investigation Unit were called for a death investigation on Monday at around 12:30 p.m. in Jim Thorpe.

    Officials discovered a dead body in the Lehigh River, which officials identified as 33-year-old Jim Thorpe resident Felix Dejesus, according to PSP.

    Man arrested at Frances Slocum facing stalking charges

    State police say Dejesus was previously reported as a missing person by the Jim Thorpe Police Department.

    PSP explained there is no threat to the public at this time and an investigation into Dejesus’ death is ongoing.
