DETEC without power as Deep East Texas counties report outages
DEEP EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - According to the city of San Augustine, power outages in their area affected DETEC and surrounding areas Thursday. Poweroutage.us said there were 276 outages in San Augustine County, 1,666 in Sabine County, and two each in the counties of Nacogdoches and Jasper around 4:30 p.m.

Earning a spot as one of the 13 Semi-Finalists at the Miss Texas’ Teen 2024 was Miss Freestone County’s Teen 2022 and Miss Burleson’s Teen, Kenady Morris of Teague. In addition to making it to the Semi-Finals, Kenady earned several scholarships during the week-long event.
