As excerpted from the release: H-E-B officially started construction on its H-E-B store in Rockwall, a city northeast of Dallas... The store is expected to open late 2025.

Features for the Rockwall store will reportedly include a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru, True Texas BBQ restaurant, and H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery.

According to a July 9 report from LocalProfile.com, other specific store features are the following, alongside its bakery, deli and usual departments: The Sushiya offers daily handmade sushi and an Asian grill serving rice bowls and teriyaki dishes. H-E-B Meal Simple provides fresh, chef-inspired meals prepared in-store for convenient dining.

Under the company’s Spirit of Giving, a $50,000 donation to local organizations was recently announced in honor of the new location's groundbreaking.

Reportedly, the Rockwall store will soon be hiring, and positions will be posted on the website in the "coming months."
