    Introduction

It is being reported that a major Illinois Arby's restaurant has permanently closed. Customers were informed of the closure by a sign on the location's front door.

Firstly, as to a specific Arby's company location count according to ScrapeHero.com: There are 3,413 Arbys restaurants in the United States as of April 16, 2024. The state and territory with the most number of Arbys locations in the US is Ohio, with 277 restaurants, which is about 8% of all Arbys restaurants in the US.

    Let us explore.

    Arby’s, 2024

A July 16th report from The-Sun.com states the following as it regards the shuttered Arby's: An Arby's in the Chicago metropolitan area has officially closed down. Located at 1331 Golf Road, Rolling Meadows, Illinois, the restaurant alerted customers of the news with a notice on the door.

Per Yahoo Finance, the shuttered location was owned by franchisee Miracle Restaurant Group, who on June 20 filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is presently selling off locations to pay its creditors.

    Conclusion

Despite the closure, both Arby’s and its parent, Inspire Brands, are in healthy financial condition and Arby’s as a brand will most likely be around for a long time to come.
