    Author’s Note

This article is based on corporate postings and accredited media reports. Linked information within this article is attributed to the following outlets: ScrapeHero.com, Facebook, Reddit and The-Sun.com.

    Introduction

it has been confirmed a longstanding Ashland, Ohio Denny's restaurant unexpectedly and permanently closed last weekend.

For perspective, per ScrapeHero.com’s most recently-updated location count of the chain’s U.S. restaurants: There are 1,530 Dennys restaurants in the United States as of May 01, 2024. The state and territory with the most number of Dennys locations in the US is California, with 389 restaurants, which is about 25% of all Dennys restaurants in the US.

    Let us explore.

    Denny’s, 2024

According to a July 27th report from The-Sun.com, the Denny’s restaurant was but the latest to shutter this past year.

As excerpted from the report: The breakfast chain has lost several locations over the past year amid disruption to the industry. Now the town outside Akron has lost its local spot. It was located at 378 Route 250.

Per social media outlets such as Facebook and Reddit, customers of the location were largely taken aback by news of the closure due to a lack of advance notice.

"Rising costs" have been officially blamed by the company for the most recent restaurant closures, as I have previously reported.

    Conclusion

In the event of pertinent updates to this matter, I will share them here on NewsBreak.
