According to an August 28 report from The-Sun.com, the 87-year-old store is closing due to cost-effectiveness in keeping it open considering its age.

As excerpted from the report: The owners said that the decision was a tough one - and that it was due to the condition of the store itself. “This decision was not made lightly and was influenced by the current market conditions and the significant investment that would be required to improve and maintain our aging facility,” a letter posted outside the store said.

There has yet to be any official announcement as to a replacement entity for the location. It should be noted the family-owned company is seeking to place the store's employees in other owned locations.
