Evelyn “Bunny “ Thomas Dean was born on March 10, 1951, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and passed away on June 30, 2024, at her home in Pearl River, LA, at the age of 73. She passed peacefully with her husband of 50 years, Larry J. Dean, and close family members at her side.

Mandeville lights up the lake for a 10th year
An estimated 5,000 residents and visitors to the area celebrated the Independence Day holiday on July 3 along the Mandeville lakefront for Light Up the Lake. The event was one of the most anticipated events of the year and included a military tribute that included a Presentation of Colors ceremony and a 21-gun salute, a concert featuring Tyler Kinchen and the Right Pieces, a Keep Mandeville Beautiful Kids Tent, food trucks, games, crafts and a spectacular fireworks show over the lake.
