BRISTOL, Va. — The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol will illuminate its signature Hard Rock Guitar this Friday as part of preparations for its highly anticipated Grand Opening on November 14. The ceremonial guitar lighting will occur at 7:30 a.m. on October 18 at the casino at 500 Gate City Highway.

The guitar lighting marks a key milestone for the property, featuring nearly 1,500 slot machines, over 50 table games, a sportsbook, and multiple dining options, including the Hard Rock Cafe and Council Oak Steaks & Seafood.

“The guitar installation is an iconic milestone in our long-awaited Grand Opening,” said Allie Evangelista, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol. “We can’t wait to see the marquee, designed specifically for Bristol to honor its musical heritage.”

The custom-designed marquee is the first of many additions to the casino’s extensive collection of music memorabilia, which will be housed within the permanent facility.

Evangelista and Giovanni Taliaferro, vice president of memorabilia and design for Hard Rock International, are scheduled to make remarks during the event. Media are invited to attend and interview both executives after the ceremony.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol spans 620,000 square feet and will offer 300 hotel rooms, non-smoking and high-limit gaming areas, and a 2,000-seat Hard Rock Live performance venue. For more information, visit casino.hardrock.com/bristol.
