how is this illusion happening? especially when they're both traveling the same direction and it doesn't seem like it's moving at all and I've seen these illusions before I know how they work with this one I can't figure out

But in this case, it looks like they are going against the jet stream, instead of with the jet stream to get somewhere much faster than they usually would! Making them stay basically in one spot until they can get out of it. Maybe by turning left or right?!? Hopefully, the pilot will figure that out long before running out of gas!!!

I'm wondering if this plane is caught in the thing called the jet stream. We're planes have gotten hours or even a ?day? ahead of other planes Usual arrival times to their location! So, they didn't trust their equipment! One example is during World War 2, a plane ended up flying way past the airport. All the way into the desert because it didn't trust It's location device Equipment, because it was at least hours ahead of when they should have arrived. So they just kept going until they ran out of gas while looking for the 🛫 airport. But when they Finnaly realized they had gone too far, it was too late to turn back!
