    Johnson City man sentenced to up to seven years on sex crime charges

    SAYRE, Pa. ( WETM ) — A Johnson City man was sentenced in July and could see up to seven years in prison after an investigation out of Bradford County.

    According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, 48-year-old Matthew Casterline was sentenced to a minimum of one year to a maximum of seven years in a Pennsylvania State Correctional Facility for the offense of corruption of minors, a felony in the third degree.

    The sentencing is a result of an investigation by Sayre Police in August of 2022, where the documents state that Casterline had acted in sexual conduct with a juvenile on several occasions.

    The documents state that Casterline faces similar charges in New York State which he will answer at a later date.
