NFL running back coming to JC for youth training session

JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. ( WIVT/WBGH ) – An NFL running back is educating the next generation of athletes.

Latavius Murray, who is heading into his 11th NFL season, is coming to Dick’s House of Sport in Johnson City on July 21. His appearance is part of Pro Day, a collaboration between Enduraphin and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Murray will be joined by his longtime strength and conditioning coach, Vinny Scollo and Registered Dietitian Alyson Onyon.

During the event, athletes will participate in a variety of skills training sessions, educational activities, and a game of dodgeball.

The event will be held from 1 to 4:30 p.m., with check-in starting at 12.

This is the first Pro Day to be held in the Greater Binghamton area. The event has taken place in Victor for the past four years.

Enduraphin is a sports nutrition startup that sells a whey protein combination in a specialized container. It got its start at the Koffman Incubator in Binghamton.
