Johnson City Doughboys hosting post-game fireworks show Wednesday

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Fans can enjoy a post-game fireworks celebration to kick off their 4th of July festivities at Wednesday night’s Johnson City Doughboys game.

The 2023 Appy League Champions will shoot off a big fireworks display directly after the game against the Greeneville Flyboys.

The Doughboys’ Preston Baker joined Good Morning Tri-Cities with all the details on the celebration and some of the upcoming promotions at TVA Credit Union Ballpark.

Those include Honky Tonk Night on Friday and the Rocky the Bat Dog bobblehead giveaway at the season’s final game.

TVA Credit Union Ballpark will also host the Appy League All-Star Game on July 22-23.

Because of the expected large crowd, gates will open early tonight at 5:30 with the game getting underway at 7:00.

The Greeneville Flyboys will also have a post-game fireworks show at Pioneer Park Thursday to celebrate the holiday after their home game.
