JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Club 24 Hour Fitness Center will host its “Dead Lift Athon” fundraiser to benefit the local Boys and Girls Club and Wounded Warrior Project.

The Club will host a fundraiser where sponsors donate “per pound lifted.” For example, if a sponsor donates $2 per pound lifted, and the participant lifts 150 pounds, the sponsor would donate $300. The proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club and the Wounded Warrior Project.

The fundraiser will be held on July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Club 24 Hour Fitness at 316 Marketplace Boulevard.

The “Dead Lift Athon” will also feature a cookout, vendor giveaways, a live DJ and door prizes every hour.

Those interested in donating but unable to attend the event can call The Club at 423-282-2375 to do so.
