JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Two years ago, on July 4, 2022, the first episode of News Channel 11’s First at 4 newscast aired.

Kelly Goetz initially launched the newscast with Mark Reynolds, and Anslee Daniel took over on Halloween 2022.

Though on-camera and behind-the-scenes changes have happened, bringing the Tri-Cities local news and weather first every day has stayed the same.

From Dollywood adventures, AirPower tours, talking about the community with guests and bringing in some critters for the newscasts, the First at 4 has had a blast throughout the last two years.

Be sure to catch the First at 4 live on News Channel 11 Monday through Friday at 4 p.m.
