NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - In the 1920′s, staff at the University of Nebraska Extension Office in North Platte began planting trees for what is known as Tree Lane Road. The path is covered with shade, largely from tall decades-old hackberry trees. For some, Tree Lane Road is a place to exercise or explore passions like photography. For one North Platte native, Jennifer Robinson, Tree Lane Road has a much deeper sense of comfort.

KEARNEY, Neb. — The Kearney Police Department is standing behind its officers’ actions during a controversial arrest at the Buffalo County Fair. A news release says two officers working an off-duty law enforcement assignment and private security officers noticed a fight around 10:45 Thursday night. Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office investigating ‘suspicious’ fire in Gibbon
GIBBON, Neb. (KSNB) - The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance regarding a fire early Monday morning in Gibbon. According to the sheriff’s office, the Gibbon Volunteer Fire Department responded to a fourplex apartment complex on Garfield Street before 2 a.m. Nobody was injured in the fire, but now an investigation is underway as the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office said the circumstances surrounding this fire is being considered suspicious.
