Huskers Release 2024-25 Schedule
The Nebraska rifle program will face many top teams, as the Huskers announced their 2024-25 schedule on Monday. Under the direction of first-year head coach Richard Clark, NU’s slate is highlighted by meetings with 2024 NCAA champion TCU on Nov. 2 and 2024 NCAA runner-up Kentucky at the Roger Withrow Invitational on Jan. 18. The Huskers, coming off an eighth-place finish at last year’s NCAA Championships, will compete at least once against every team that qualified for the 2024 NCAA Championships.

NWS upgrades Elkhorn-Bennington-Blair tornado to EF-4
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The National Weather Service office in Omaha has revised the rating for one of the Arbor Day tornadoes that struck eastern Nebraska and western Iowa in late April. Specifically, the tornado that tracked from Elkhorn into Bennington and Blair was originally rated as an EF-3 tornado with maximum sustained winds of 165 mph. After a thorough review, the NWS has upgraded that rating to EF-4 with maximum sustained winds of 170 mph.
