Rat poison discovered on fences of Vintage Pet Rescue
FOSTER, R.I. (WLNE) — A local pet rescue found rat poison in their yard this morning, and one dog had to be taken to the veterinarian. Vintage Pet Rescue of Foster reported on their Facebook page this afternoon that they discovered multiple pieces of rat poison along their fence.
Man arrested on multiple drug charges pleads not guilty
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A man charged with multiple felonies pleaded not guilty today in court. 58-year-old Jose Parra Reyes was charged with one count of possession of more than one kilogram of fentanyl, one count of possession of more than one kilogram of heroin, one count of possession of more than one kilogram of cocaine, four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, one count of possession of a stolen firearm, four counts of possession of a firearm with intent to deliver controlled substances, four counts of possession of a firearm while previously convicted of a crime of violence, and five counts of possessing a prohibited large capacity feeding device.

Providence’s Tiny Bar and ISCO Team Up
Tiny Bar in Providence showcased spirits from Providence-based distillery The Industrious Spirit Company (ISCO) at its Tiny Raw Bar event featuring West Passage Oyster Company on June 17. The hand-raised oysters, which hail from the West Passage of Narragansett Bay, were paired with ISCO’s Seaflow Gin and Ostreida Oyster Vodka in cocktails and sips. The Tiny Bar event also offered special themed Pride Month cocktails to benefit the Youth Pride Rhode Island and the Trevor Project nonprofits. Bottled at 81 proof, ISCO Seaflow Gin is made from organic corn, organic juniper, New England oysters, regeneratively farmed New England seaweed, citrus and flowers. Naturally ocean blue in hue, it is a maritime-inspired gin made with local oysters and seaweed. Part of ISCO’s mainstay spirits lineup of Ostreida Oyster Vodka, Structural Vodka, Ornamental Gin, Blue Velvet Bourbon, Patina Bourbon Barrel Aged Gin and Gemma Crystal Vodka, the spirits are distributed by Horizon Beverage Co. of Rhode Island.
