8:21 p.m. – A caller said youths were driving golf carts over people’s lawns on Sheep Farm Drive. An area search proved negative, according to police. 5:11 p.m. – A Coventry man said on July 14 around 5 p.m. he had been at Blu on the Water. He had noticed that a man he didn’t get along with was there and was staring at his girlfriend and making her uncomfortable. Security staff escorted the other man off the property. A third party told the Coventry man that the other man had taken a knife out, held it against his throat, and made a stabbing motion while his back was turned. Afterwards police issued a no–trespass order to the man who was escorted out of Blu on the Water.
'Extremely angry': Pet rescue seeks justice after dog ingests rat poison placed on fence
(WJAR) — A senior dog rescue in Foster said a dog had to be brought to the vet after it ingested rat poison that was placed on top of the facility’s fences. Marc Peralta, the founder of Vintage Pet Rescue, said that multiple large pieces of rat poison were found on top of the shelter's fences Monday morning.

KILLINGLY, Conn. — A Rhode Island woman was arrested after a wrong-way collision on Interstate 395 in Killingly Saturday, according to Connecticut State Police.
