South Carolina basketball coach Dawn Staley is everywhere. The top coach in all of women's college basketball, Staley finds herself all over the world during her team's offseason. Fans who pay attention can spot Staley at major sporting events (especially in her hometown of Philadelphia), they can see her on the cover of Slam Magazine and in commercials all over television and streaming platforms, and, now, they can locate her in the spotlight at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France.
The Ocean Course Named The Best Public Golf Course in SC
Golfweek recently unveiled its ranking of the 20 best public-access golf courses in South Carolina and ranked The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort as the best. The periodical said the rankings were determined by their "nationwide network of raters." The hundreds of members continually evaluate courses and rate them on 10 criteria on a points basis of 1 through 10. They also file a single, overall rating on each course. Those overall ratings are averaged to produce all Golfweek’s Best course rankings.
