300 cyclists to make way from Cleveland to Cincinnati in support of American Cancer Society
This week, the American Cancer Society’s annual Pan Ohio Hope Ride will see more than 300 cyclists trek from Cleveland to Cincinnati. The trip runs July 25-28. The first day will take riders 88 miles, from Cleveland to Wooster. The next day will see cyclists taking the 95-mile trek from there to Columbus. Day three will see the riders finish their 84-mile trek here in Dayton. Finally, the ride will close out with an 82-mile ride to Cincinnati.
Columbus City Council hosts first reading to change zoning code
COLUMBUS, Ohio — The City of Columbus is getting closer to changing its zoning code. The code hasn’t been significantly changed in 70 years. The goal of the new zoning code is to build higher density areas in the city and increase housing. Over the last two months, the city has had over 1,600 individual comments on the code and hosted 1,700 people at the downtown Zone-in gallery.
Palestinian-owned Lavash Café and Bakery in Clintonville vandalized with 'racist' graffiti
Clintonville's Lavash Café and Bakery was vandalized with racist graffiti Sunday evening. The store's co-owner Jamal Latif told WOSU two of Lavash's doors were painted over with graffiti. One message said "Join the KKK." Latif says he heard about the graffiti and was able to purchase cleaner and get it removed by Monday afternoon.

Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic wide receiver Quincy Porter made an official visit to Penn State the weekend of May 31 and then one to Ohio State the weekend of June 7. He had official visits set to Michigan the weekend of June 14 and Oklahoma June 21, but on the day he was supposed to start the Michigan visit Porter announced that he had committed to the Buckeyes.

There is a lot riding on the 2024 season for Ohio State football, there is plenty of pressure around the program to return to the top of the Big Ten. The last three seasons has been the Buckeyes bitter rival Michigan take the crown, but hopefully this coming year will be much different. This year they have Ohio State as the favorites, with 21 of its voters picking the Buckeyes to win the conference. CHILLICOTHE, Ohio – A second card skimmer has been discovered in Chillicothe, Ohio, raising concerns about a potential rise in credit card fraud in the area.
