    Johnstown HS opening up pool to community this summer

    JOHNSTOWN, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Greater Johnstown School District is opening up its High School swimming pool to the community this summer. The swim program runs from July 8 to August 15 from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays through Thursdays.

    “Our winter swim program was well attended by members of our community and the District is pleased to also offer free access to our beautiful pool during the height of summer,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. William Crankshaw.

    Children 12 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or older. Toddlers must wear protective swimming diapers and participants can bring personal swimming aides, but pool floats are not allowed.

    Schenectady Police warns about senior scams

    The pool will have lifeguard supervision. The swim program is free and no pre-registration is required. Attendees should park near the tennis courts and use the rear entrance by the bus circle.
