    $100K Powerball ticket purchased in Jonesborough

    JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — One lucky lottery player in Jonesborough has won $100,000.

    According to a news release from the Tennessee Lottery on Sunday, the winning $100,000 ticket was sold at Tri-City Wholesale Tobacco, located at 104 East Jackson Boulevard.

    The winner matched four numbers plus the Powerball and used the Power Play option, according to the lottery.

    The Tennessee Lottery said that no additional details will be available until the prize is claimed.

    The next Powerball drawing takes place Monday night. The jackpot as of Sunday was $64 million.
