Madisonville-North Hopkins continued its stellar early-season play on the golf course on Monday. The Maroons placed second out of 21 teams in the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club High School Invitational. Mingo man charged with vehicular homicide after DUI crash in Pikeville
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Mingo County man faces charges of vehicular homicide and assault, following a DUI crash Friday afternoon. Police say Chad Blackburn, 36, of Red Jacket, showed signs of impairment following the crash, which occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. on U.S. 119, near the intersection with U.S. 23 in Pikeville. After failing a field sobriety test, he was immediately arrested for DUI.
