Ceairra Franklin awarded $1,000 scholarship by Hugh Green Scholarship Foundation
NATCHEZ, Miss. — Ceairra Franklin, a 2024 graduate of Natchez High School, is the 2024 recipient of a $1,000 scholarship awarded by the Hugh Green Scholarship Foundation. GONZALES, La. — Louisiana State Representative Kendricks "Ken" Brass, D-Vacherie, was arrested on Friday for drunk driving, according to the Louisiana State Police. The incident happened shortly after midnight when a state trooper saw a "2018 GMC Yukon swerving in and out of the travel lane while traveling on LA 44 near Interstate 10 in Ascension Parish", the release said.
