    Early morning straight-line winds cause widespread damage in the 4-States

    (KOAM) -- Thunderstorms and winds up to 60-70 mph rolled through the 4-States this morning.

    The National Weather Service says some areas are dealing with power outages, tree limbs down, and some structural damage.

    Confirmed Damage Reports:

    • Tree limbs down throughout Allen County, KS
    • Large tree limbs down in/around Iola with power outages
    • Tree limbs down near Erie, KS and Shaw, KS
    • Tree and roof damage in Chanute, KS
    • Roof Removed from Westco in Neosho
    • Trees down throughout Newton County
    • Structural damage on Main Street in Joplin
    • Power poles and trees down in Joplin
