Traffic Alert as structure move planned for East Newman Road

JASPER COUNTY, Mo. (KOAM) — Traffic on East Newman Road will be interrupted for a short time on Monday, July 8 at 10 a.m. as Tilton & Sons House Moving will relocate a building for New Heights Christian Academy (formerly College Heights Christian School).

“ We moved this here 30 years ago,” Derek Tilton tells KOAM’s Shannon Becker. “And now we are moving it again.”

This time it’s a short distance about 1/2 mile east to the former 4 Seasons Sports Complex where the school has acquired the property.

Easy alternate routes to avoid Newman Road include East Zora to the north and East 7th to the south.
