Freeman, DQ, Children's Miracle Network team up for Miracle Treat Day

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) -- Freeman Health System is teaming up with Dairy Queen Grill & Chill and the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals for Miracle Treat Day.

According to Freeman, a local 8-year-old will create his very own Blizzard to raise money for medical needs.

Freeman says beginning Thursday, July 25, $1 or more from every purchased Blizzard treat from the Joplin location and other local restaurants will be donated Freeman Health System. Since the partnership first launched in 2004, local stores have raised $149,023.
