JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) - Today, starting at 10:00 am, at the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill in Joplin, MO Vincent Wilkowski, an 8-year-old local CMN champion, will be crafting his own Dairy Queen Blizzard Treat supporting Children's Miracle Network (CMN).

According to Children's Miracle Network, Vincent is a member of CMN, he was born at 36 weeks with Bilaterial Clubfoot deformities and Distal Hand Arthrogryposis, forced to wear his first sets of casts at just five days old. After six years of multiple surgeries, Vincent is finally seeing some relief, with Ankle-Foot Orthoses braces helping him walk and keeping his feet straight.

On Thursday, July 25, Dairy Queen will donate $1 or more from each Blizzard Treat sold at the Joplin location and other participating restaurants to Freeman Health System, a Children's Miracle Network member hospital. Since the partnership began in 2004, local Dairy Queen stores have raised $149,023, including $5,988 from last year's efforts.

Make sure to get your Blizzard supporting Children's Miracle Network Thursday, July 25!
