Father charged in double-fatal ATV incident involving 10-year-olds
AFTON, Minn. — An Afton man is charged with manslaughter and child endangerment in connection with an ATV rollover that killed his daughter and her friend in April 2023. A criminal complaint filed in Washington County details the allegations against 54-year-old Lance Alan Koeckeritz, who faces four felony counts in the fatal crash, which took place on the defendant's property in Afton.
Twins Get Boost as Duo of Infielders Target Friday Return
The Minnesota Twins will get two of their middle-of-the-order bats back into their lineup without too long of an absence. Royce Lewis and José Miranda will likely return to the lineup as soon as this weekend’s series against the Detroit Tigers, per Dan Hayes of MLB.com. Lewis has been on the injured list since the beginning of July due to an adductor strain, while Miranda was placed on the IL with back tightness before the All-Star break. Both players are expected to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday at Triple-A St. Paul.
Statewide Missing Person Alert For 17-Year-Old Minnesota Girl
Sartell, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide alert has been issued for a missing Minnesota teenager. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says 17-year-old Kaydence Johnson has been missing for 30 days and is now considered and endangered missing person. The alert says she and another teenage girl ran away from a residence in the City of Sartell on June 22.
