WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — For two days this fall, a bodega-inspired pop-up will make its way to Purdue University's campus as part of an Uber One promotion.

"The One Shop," branded as a one-of-a-kind, bodega-inspired pop-up for students to experience Uber One for Students , will set up near Purdue's Engineering Fountain on Sept. 11 and 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As a promotion for the new monthly student membership program, a news release said, the pop-up will be stocked with free items from various national chains, including Starbucks, Taco Bell, Domino's, Wendy's and more. Students will also have a chance to win other giveaways and take away a bag of "swag" from Uber.

The One Shop will be open only to Uber One for Student members, the release said, which is offered as a four-week free trial.

Uber ridesharing services first became available in Greater Lafayette in 2014, while Uber Eats, the food delivery service, became available in 2018.
