LAFAYETTE, Ind. ― Tippecanoe County Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the 2100 block of Meharry Street about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, and when they finished, five people were in jail on suspicion of drug-related charges.

Inside the house, officers say they found more than a pound-and-a-half of marijuana. They also found edibles, psilocybin mushrooms, 2.7 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and two handguns.

Police allegedly also found THC vapes; THC is the active drug in marijuana.

Depending on the grade of marijuana, one pound can sell on the street for as little as $750 to upward of $3,000, police said.

According to police and jail records, those arrested were a 34-year-old woman, a 53-year-old man, a 30-year-old man, and two 18-year-old men.

They all were arrested on drug-related charges.

All five suspects posted bond Wednesday afternoon and were released, according to jail records.
