Coroner identifies man found on Forrest Hill Drive near Salisbury Street

LAFAYETTE, Ind. ― Sherwin Love is the man police found Tuesday morning dead in Forrest Hill Drive near Salisbury Street.

The 73-year-old West Lafayette man lived a few blocks away on Rockland Drive, according to Tippecanoe County property records.

West Lafayette police received a call about 7:25 a.m. Tuesday of a man lying in the street near a curb.

There is no foul play suspected, and there was no obvious trauma, police said on Tuesday.

A forensic autopsy is scheduled for Friday to determine the cause and manner of death, Tippecanoe County Coroner Carrie Costello said.
