Location, elevation and renovation are three reasons why a home along the " world's most beautiful drive " recently sold for over $1 million.

The house on North Grandview Drive in Peoria Heights is "one of only 6 homes situated on the riverside of Grandview Drive owning its own riverview amongst park land," reads the listing at Zillow.com. Multiple rooms feature year-round views of the Illinois River.
