New Elmwood barbecue and steak restaurant announces opening date

In Elmwood, UBQ Barbecue & Steakhouse will open its bar at 4 p.m. on Sept. 5. The soft opening coincides with the start of the 2024 Elmwood Fall Festival – which continues through Saturday, Sept. 7.

A grand opening for the new Elmwood establishment – situated at 118 E. Main St. – will take place on Sept. 10.

The BBQ business’s Williamsfield restaurant announced it will temporarily close for two weeks so staff can focus on helping the new location get up and running.

“Come join us and help celebrate this amazing soft opening!” the announcement added.
