Peoria man shot and killed Wednesday night is identified

A man killed Wednesday evening in a shooting in Peoria has been identified.

Dennis Harris, 30, of West Ridge Road in Peoria was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:59 p.m., the Peoria County Coroner's Office said in a Thursday news release.

Peoria police responded to the 900 block of West Johnson Street around 8:22 p.m. Wednesday to a report of six shots fired.

Two men were found with gunshot wounds. One of them was declared dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

easy fix start shutting down the gas stations and bars where everyone hangs out and gets shot bet it slows down

19 arrests since 2012, when he turned 18. The man was robbed of better things to come for himself... most likely at our expense. I'm sure his juvenile record was spotless until his 18th birthday.
