Peoria's newest family entertainment center is on the verge of opening inside Northwoods Mall .

Tilted 10 , the 55,000 square-foot complex has just some final touch-ups and administrative work remaining before a soft opening is scheduled for mid-October, according to director of marketing Vicky Peek.

The Journal Star was given a look inside the space on Wednesday. The games, various bowling lanes and the bumper cars have been installed. The miniature golf courses have been laid out. The video games are on display.

“I’m always excited to open a new store,” Peek said. “It’s great to watch people come in for the first time and see their expressions when they view the facility and see how much we have to offer.”

Tilted 10’s offerings will include more than 100 games, ranging from 1980s arcade classics to virtual reality games. It will offer 14 bowling lanes, miniature bowling, Flip Zone bumper cars , two miniature golf courses and a restaurant.

How much are games at Titled 10?

Bowling will cost $22 for a party of one to six people until 6 p.m. and $25 after 6 p.m., according to Peek.

Most other games — including miniature bowling, golf and the bumper cars — can be activated with a Tilted 10 Play Card for $.25 per credit. Games cost between four and 48 credits, which equals $10-$12.

“The bumper cars and the mini golf will be the most expensive attractions,” Peek said. “They’ll cost between 40 and 48 credits.”

What kind of food is at Tilted 10?

Tilted 10’s restaurant will serve classic comfort food including pizza, sandwiches, sides, desserts and salads. Peek did not indicate what the restaurant’s price range would be, but the most expensive menu item at the Rockford location is the 16-inch cheese pizza for $14. Additional toppings are 75 cents each.

The Northwoods Mall facility will be Tilted 10’s fourth location. The chain operates other franchises in Rockford; Louisville, Kentucky; and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. More information is available at tilted10.com.

I think it seems a bit pricey but maybe that’s because I don’t go anywhere. Hopefully it does well.
