Fished with Antonio Apodaca on this 7th #DinoHunting trip in 2021 in #SuisunSlough. We planned to fish in Pittsburg, but changed our minds when we marked a bunch of sturgeons in Suisun Slough. We had all the typical sturgeon baits such as eel, ghost shrimp, grass shrimp, night crawlers and a bunch of others.... Antonio was prepared to catch his first slotted sturgeon. Years ago I took my dad on a guided sturgeon trip on the Columbia. We had a ball and caught our limit. We took the sturgeon to a canning facility that actually stole about 3/4 of the fish but that's OK cause when my dad ate some he had an extreme allergic reaction to it so we didn't keep it anyway.
